What is this treatment?

Treatment Description:
This comfortable, minimally invasive treatment combines micro-needling and IPL in one session. Your treatment begins with approximately 20 minutes of topical numbing to ensure your comfort. Micro-needling is then performed, followed by IPL to enhance skin rejuvenation and tightening. We end with a cooling mask to calm the redness and let you relax.

The treatment requires minimal downtime, with temporary redness and mild sensitivity possible afterward. Most clients can return to their normal activities shortly after treatment.

  • You must arrive with no tan, or sunburn also no self tanning (due to IPL targets color).

    Don’t use Retinol products for 2 weeks prior and no prescription Retinol for 4 weeks prior.

    If you have a history of cold sores, take your medicine prior to treatment and no treatment can be performed if any active cold sores.

  • We numb for 20 minutes with a topical Lidocaine to ensure maximum comfort.

    We begin with IPL - you will feel heat and see a bright flash of light. This is a fast process.

    We follow with microneedling. This is very comfortable and also fast.

    You will be happy when we cool your face down with a cold, calming mask.

  • Everyone is so different, it is difficult to say. If you don’t have many brown spots and broken capillaries, and your skin isn’t sensitive, you may walk out just pink and feeling like you have a sunburn.

    If you have lots of pigment/brown spots and broken capillaries and you do have sensitive skin, you could be red and a bit of swelling, dark spots will be darker.

  • You must remember, this isn’t an instant result. We are creating a “safe injury” so the body is responding with healing and building collagen and elastin. You will see results beginning a week or two after the treatment and up to 90 days after, the results will be increasing as the collagen is building.
